School Guidelines.

Below are the guidelines that are outlined in the student handbook that was given to them at the time of their acceptance into Alan Andersen Academy.

• Dress code policy is as follows: no spaghetti straps (unless it is sleepwear), no slippers (unless it is sleepwear), skirts and shorts must be fingertip length, and shirts may not show the midriff area. Violation of the dress code policy will result in detention.

• Cell phones are not to be out or on during classes.

• Pets are not permitted on campus at all.

• Cars are only to be driven by juniors and seniors.

• Students must be back to their dormitory building by nine in the evening on weekdays and eleven on Fridays and Saturdays. Lights must be out by ten in the evening on weekdays and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

• If a student is feeling ill, he/she must call their dorm director to inform them that they will be absent from their classes for the day so that the instructors can then be alerted.

• Possession of drugs, alcohol, and weapons will result in expulsion.

• Zero-tolerance violence policy. Any student(s) who engage in violent acts will be expelled immediately.
